When Are You Getting Married?

- BY NEHA

My grandparents recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. Yes people you read that correct. SEVENTIETH! The occasion reminded of me how sacrosanct and beautiful the institution of marriage is (or rather should be) and how our society has made it into a seemingly obligatory step in life. So much so, that you are supposed to bend over backwards and do whatever you possibly can in order to get married ‘on-time’.

Rejection

- BY NEHA

At the outset, let me first thank my friend for her epic (read freaking long) blog post. You guys have no idea how much she hemmed and hawed before finally agreeing to write her first awesome blog post.

So, I have this App on my phone called ‘allwomenstalk’ (not sure if the makers meant All Women Talk or All Women Stalk – both are kind of…well…ahem…so not true), which I find quite interesting.

I am the other person who seemingly co-owns this blog. I would initiate my first blog post by thanking the other owner of this blog who also happens to be very close to my heart and has put in all efforts to bring this blog into shape. In fact she has been after my life to post my first blog but realization dawned upon me only today about what should be my first post!!

Moreover, the opportunities to nurture those friendships - night outs, spur of the moment weekend getaways, late night phone calls – are also plentiful during adolescence, largely because of the abundance of spare time and energy we have.

ABOUT THE BLOG

“Vida Miríada” is Spanish for “myriad life”.

This blog is all about life – experiences we have, lessons we learn, joy we feel, pain we endure, people we meet and sometimes the rather mundane aspects of everyday life.

Why the name vida miríada?
